The Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop has arrived with the powerful new AMD Strix Point APU. Buyers can choose from four different configurations, with prices starting at $1,899.99. The laptop features a 16-inch 1600p OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate.

It also includes a 90 Wh battery for longer gaming sessions.

Under the hood, the ROG Zephyrus G16 packs LPDDR5X RAM running at 7,500 MT/s and a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. This ensures quick data transfer speeds and smooth multitasking.

The four available models differ in their GPU, RAM, and SSD specs:

The $1,899.99 version has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with a 105 W TGP, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD.

Launch of Asus gaming powerhouse

For $2,099.99, you get the same RTX 4060 GPU but with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.

The $2,229.99 model upgrades to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with a 105 W TGP. It also doubles the SSD capacity to 2 TB and includes 32 GB of RAM. Buyers can choose between Eclipse Grey and Platinum White color options for the laptop’s finish.

The ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA605 is the second refresh of this gaming laptop line since it first launched. The AMD Strix Point APU is the key upgrade in this latest version. ASUS is selling the new ROG Zephyrus G16 models directly through its online store and at Best Buy in the US.

The laptops continue ASUS’s push to offer high-performance gaming machines for different needs and budgets.
